Fax machine receives but does not send.

My HP 1040 fax machine receives but does not send out. It goes through with scnanning the document but does not send the document out. It produces a report that shows the following CODE: ecm - Send Error....

My phone has distinctive ring phone fax, however my answering machine does not kick on anymore. You get the fax machine instead. How do I fix, I have the HP1040 Fax/Phone.

My answering machine does not click on , but the message is still working when I go to change message greeting. The phone goes into fax mode after ringing and no one picks up. How do I fix...

Fax machine not receiving

Fax machine was not receiving, changed cartridge, cleaned heads, no paper jams. I got a message code on display 04 (01-011) then it goes to time and date. What else can I check on the machine....
