Akg c3000 - sork, check out the at3035 for vox, about $180. it's not right on every voice, but i recently used it instead of my at4050 because it had more character on this particular vocalist. also a good mic for electric guitar amp (using -10db pad). Akg c3000b or shure ksm27? - ah! i've heard good things about the 4050 :d unfortunately i've never gotten to try one :( never heard much good said about the c3000b though (btw, if you're looking for a multi pattern fet ldc condenser it's the I have only heard the c3000b through a mackie board and thought it sounded harsh. i wouldn't buy one. i've heard decent things about the ksm 27 and great things about the at 4040....
