Bought a c8-n from sherwoods on saturday it has a cg-5 mount. Rather offhand staff to say the least??
sods law it was a beautifully clear night and everything was in its boxes when we got home at 11.30!!

I've got a celestron advanced c8-n gt (goto), a canon 400d, t-ring, t-adapter 1 1/4'', but i couldnt focus in on saturn tonight to save my life.

i was thinking about upgrading my old 114 reflector for something a little more serious.
does anyone have any experience with a celestron c8-n gt, the one with the goto mount?

I want a eq-6 with either a celestron c8-n or an orion atlas, but i don't know,
is the atlas alot better than the c8-n?
how much do u think it would cost:
