My xm is due an lhm change at 72,000, having had one at 36,000. It's at 65,000 now.

Could anyone please tell me how i test the coolant temp sensor for the ecu ?
i ran the car today with the temp sensor unplugged and i think it now assumes that the car is hot !

I have a very good example of a citroen xm 1991 model
the model is 2.1 sed,
it has only done 55000 miles warrented but has suferred a head gasket failure.
