Mackie 1402-vlz or behringer 1604a for monitoring? - my vote is for the mackie as well. behringer is not something i would support or use, for all the reasons stated already. the 1402 vlz is probably one of the best bangs for the buck out there, for

Mackie 1402-vlz or behringer 1604a for monitoring? - the mackie will be better built but the behringer will have more features like aux sends. most of behringers designs are pretty much rip off reverse engineered clones of mackies (and others) stuff,

Mackie 1402-vlz or behringer 1604a for monitoring? - i'm getting a digi002 rack system to do some demo recordings. someone suggested i get a 1402-vlz on the cheap for monitoring. these go for around $250, but money is tight. the behringer seems similar

Some are already using 192 khz, but most believe this is superfluous. 96 khz will not be obsolete anytime soon, and frankly, something that sounds good will never be obsolete. 16 bit vs. 24 bit makes much more...

Front end to digi002 for drum kit - markd102, you are correct i think i should take back my ''crap'' comment above. my point really was, do you think that the mic pres inside the 002r could stand out compared with, say, a mackie 1402-vlz pro? those

A new mic pre - i'm using the pre's on my mackie 1402-vlz pro. i am interested in something that would be an improvement over them but don't have a bundle to drop. $500 is the max for the budget and i would need 2 channels. the gc cronies promised me
