Check out the tascam us 2400. It's gotten poor reviews, but it's about as big as i can think of at the moment....

Hui - at the risk of coming across as an undercutter... the studio i work for does have a mackie hui for sale. send me a message if you are interested.

Check out the tascam us 2400. It's gotten poor reviews, but it's about as big as i can think of at the moment....

Hui - mackie's hui. the most horrid nfg pos of a controller that was ever built by anybody, hands down.

Actually the only thing i ever regretted buying is a behringer composer... i needed a comp for my home studio.... The problem is... I have ears!...

Lcxview work in mackie ( baby hui) mode??

Hui or baby hui controller template possibility?

I was wondering if there was any possibility of lc xmu including a template for baby hui compatable controllers, using lc xmu to convert them into mackie universal protocol? i know that the issue with converting full hui becomes...

Command 8 vs mackie universal control - does it have talkback by any chance?

My sf digi dealer just mentioned to me that the hui is ''ok'' the pro tools hd3 accel system i'm considering, but the command 8 is really the way to go because you can control many more features/parameters with it......

Daw - i dont think the dxb is comapitble with protools, but i might be wrong. have you considered the now discontinued mackie d8b??? they are going for 3k to 5k used, and v5 upgrade has the hui mode added. the control 24 is a control surface, wit

Daw - http://www.mackie.com/products/digitalxbus/dawguides.html from what i have seen it should be compatible....check here, says it uses the same profiles as the mackie control universal and the mackie hui which are both compatible. listed under f

Wanted: mackie hui or...

Just sold my c24 and now i'm looking for a mackie hui or another compact (no more than 8 faders) controller/mixer but it has to have a jog wheel for scrubbing - it's how i like to work in editing....

You're not really missing anything with the combination, and i prefer it that way personally...I don't want all of my cables strewn across my desktop if they don't have to be. if you ever go out to do mobile...

.02 - i have the 002r and an old mackie hui, which is clunky sure, but has features these newer control boards just dont have. it rocks!! why they stopped making it i have no idea...but the shame of it is, im stuck on pt 6.4 since they wont support it any

Better off - i have an old mackie hui, and i love it! sucks that digidesign will no longer support it in 6.7 i think....so im stuck on 6.4.....or.......unload the hui. (sniff sniff)

Rob a bank. then buy the good stuff. ....Sorry dude, i don't know....

Ghost or control 24...? - i work for a blind guy's studio as his engineer. he just purchased a computer/software upgrade and we will be running mix^3 on a g3 with lots of bells and whistles... we are currently using a mackie 32/8 for inputs and a hui fo
