Lc xmu and rme fireface 800

Fireface 800 !! - imagineaudio...yes i own the fireface,and am completely happy with it. i dont even think about it when i record anymore. there are many good products to choose from rme,and others... i personally researched alot and found the fireface

The motu gear is great! i have an 828 mkii and simply enjoy it much! great value for the money! of course i'd like to have a rme fireface 800 but i'd also like to have an apogee rosetta 800...

Pci versus firewire - if you can splash out the extra cash, then i second the fireface 800, a murder unit rme has build there and indeed very hard to beat in the moment. but you can't really go wrong with motu either, specially the 828 mkll comes cheap in

Ok, fireface 800 and/or cubase users... lend me your brain! - here is an interesting one... i got my fireface up and running with cubase sx3 on my laptop (vaio) with no problems. i recorded a concert last night with no problems and it sounds great!

Rme protools - hey all just a simple question. is there anyway of using rme fireface 800 in conjunction with pt? like using the pt software on its own. if not can i record in cubase sx3 and then mix in pro tools? thanks guys.

Pro tools requires digi hardware (or the mpowered as the case may be). no way to use a fireface with it. why bother with pro tools, though, if you want that interface? there are plenty of other good programs...
