Hi miks,
rme's instruction manual is very thourough. did you follow their instructions in seting up your system?
if you don't have a copy of the manual, you can download it here:

if you still have problems, post again.

I'll comment on the 828 mkii as i own that one.

Even though i do use protools, i think they're better alternatives to the mbox and the 002.
