First of all, yes i've read the zalman documentation and i know they make it perfectly clear that this isn't supported.
however, i was wondering what the likely outcome of this would be?
i mean, i assume they say not to do... Forum: www.silentpcreview.com - From: meglamaniac - Date: mon sep 27, 2004 5:32 am |

How hot do the x800gto cards run? my 9500 pro pushes the limits of what i consider okay for my zm80a (the older, gold-colored one) because it gets hot to the touch without its 5v l1a on it._________________no one will... I just had the opportunity to mount these two fanless heatpipe vga coolers on the same video card, running in the same system, within just a few weeks of each other. Since this happened mostly by accident i didn't plan... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: jonv - Date: thu sep 15, 2005 7:55 am |

I'm hoping to silence my gigabyte geforce 6800 gt gv-nx68t256d-b 256mb video card, ideally without any fans.

Does anyone know if the vm-101 is compatible with the 7600gt agp? the card has the weird ''rectangular'' mounting holes, rendering my zalman zm80d-hp useless for it.
it also doesn't appear that hr-03 works either... In fact, nearly... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: badger - Date: fri sep 14, 2007 4:21 pm |

While i was reseating my 7800gt after routing a cable under it, one of the tiny heatsinks stuck to each memory chip fell off. This is underneath the big front heatsink of the zalman zm80d-hp heatpipe cooler i have mounted... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: jonv - Date: tue aug 30, 2005 5:38 pm |

Can a 7800gtx be passivley cooled? i have an xfx 7800gtx and would like to install the zalman zm80d-hp on it. i'd probably blow a 120mm at 5v over it. i'm concerned about the zalman mounting on... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: jxf11 - Date: mon aug 29, 2005 5:40 am |

I'm wondering if the zalman zm80d-hp passive vga cooler is compatible with the asus p4c800 deluxe motherboard.
it appears that the large vga heatsink might collide with the passive northbridge heatsink or possibly the system memory.
maybe someone who has the setup... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: rigurat - Date: fri oct 20, 2006 10:27 pm |

I've just bought an xfx 7600gt agp and the fan's well too noisy for me. I know generally the available after-market coolers don't fit the 7600gt agp cards, although i think the vf700 does (but i don't really want that... Forum: silentpcreview.com - From: doveman - Date: thu sep 27, 2007 4:26 am |
